Police Seek Suspect in Shooting in 43-Year-Old Glendale Man

Los Angeles Police dispatched to the 21300 block of Victory Boulevard around 2:20 PM on Monday, July 26 in response to shots fired.

On the scene, officers discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, 43-year-old Mkher Alaverdian of Glendale, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The shooting was said to have occurred after a dispute broke out between the victim and the suspect near the 6400 block of DeSoto Avenue. After firing into the victim’s car, the suspect fled the scene.

Police are asking for help in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information regarding the case is urged to alert officials through any of the following methods:
